Happy Cinco de Mayo! I’m feeling so refreshed after a relaxing weekend!
Saturday it stormed out all day, so it was the perfect day for a long run and then compressing and watching lots of basketball with Adam:
I ended up doing my run on the treadmill since we had lots of rain, wind and a little bit of lightening. It wasn’t my best run ever, but I did feel really good about finally hitting double digits for the first time in a couple of weeks.
Sunday I didn’t have a run on my schedule, but you know when you get that itch and you just have to? Yeah, it was like that! : )
I probably should have waited until the sun was down a little bit more, but I just couldn’t wait!
It was hot hot hot but it felt good to feel the sun on my skin, and there was a little leftover breeze from Saturday’s bad weather which was nice.
When I got home all I wanted was an ice cold smoothie: mango, pineapple, banana and vanilla greek yogurt.
So, so good.
All in all, I had a pretty great weekend, and I’m looking forward to the week coming up! At work we recently signed a client that I’m excited about from the sports world AND Adam and I are going to the Heat game on Tuesday night! LET’S GO HEAT!
