A Running Milestone + Look at This!

I’m so excited to say that I ran three consecutive days! I haven’t been able to do this since wayyyy before surgery, whoo!

I wasn’t running huge mileage or anything:

Saturday: 2.5 miles
Sunday: 4.5 miles
Monday: 2.5 miles

All easy miles but I am still really happy to be at this point in my training. Every week I feel more and more like running a half marathon is going to become a reality this fall. Of course that’s the goal, but having never had surgery before I had no idea what to expect.

WHOOOOOOO! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Speaking of half marathons I’m still in the process of deciding which one I want to do. I’m for sure considering the Fort Lauderdale Half in November, but Barbs might run the relay with me. If that’s the case then I’m looking at the Miami Half in January and also the Fort Lauderdale A1A Half in February.

Just look at this medal for the A1A:

Of course I need to add this one to my collection! The great thing about A1A every year is that if I’ve trained for literally any other fall/winter half marathon I’ll be in shape for A1A and can do it as my bonus end-of-season race.

I’m so excited for fall races!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! πŸ™‚

That A1A medal looks awesome. Of course their medals are always great. I think I’ve already registered for the A1A race but I don’t remember. AAAACK that’s the problem with the year before registration. Of course the up side is you don’t pay a kings ransom.

Do me a favor and check out my most recent post. I’d love your feedback. http://www.amysaysso.com/2018/06/20/my-first-parkrun/
