Not a bad weekend of running, even though I very obviously skipped my 5K on Sunday morning. What happened? Nothing bad. Adam and I celebrated a birthday with family on Saturday night and then we stayed up way too late.
I know dedication to training is an important part of reaching goals. However, I feel like despite skipping the 5K I still got in a lot of quality miles this weekend. It’s all about finding balance, right?
I wanted to get in 12 miles on Saturday, but my new sports bra chafed me SO BAD in an area that I didn’t apply Body Glide and I just couldn’t take it any longer. The shower when I got home was PURE TORTURE. I threw the bra in the trash because it may be possessed by the devil. Why else would it cause so much pain?!
I’m really looking forward to this upcoming week. Wednesday night Adam and I are planning to go to the HEAT game and then this weekend I get to see my mom!
I hope all you moms out there had a great Mother’s Day. Cecil didn’t buy me anything because he doesn’t have a job, but he was extra snuggly!
