Clap Along….

Last night’s run was too amazing! It was only 4 miles, but it was one of those runs where every step felt light and effortless. I was just gliding along feeling like the happiest person on earth. I must have given every single person I passed the biggest smile 😀

I would have given them the double thumbs up too if that wouldn’t have made me look like the cheesiest person ever. Can you imagine a stranger grinning at you from ear to ear with double thumbs up? I would probably pepper spray that person just in case!

Thank you, Pharrell!

You took the words right out of my mouth, Pharrell!

Watching the sunset I just felt so grateful for being able to run, for being outdoors, for living near the beach, for having a great job, for knowing and loving Adam and Cecil… for everything!

… and especially for being a MIAMI HEAT fan!

As I may have written about a time or two, on Tuesday night Adam and I went to the HEAT game. We’ve been to a few playoff games in the Big 3 era but Tuesday’s game was one of my favorite! The crowd was super pumped up, and after half time there was no question we were going to win big!

Lights go down for the Miami Heat player introductions.

Being able to sprint fast is a big part of being a professional basketball player, but I wonder how the top guys would do in a 5K?

I seriously would love to see LeBron line up at a local race, but that’s probably only going to happen in my dreams. Ray Allen has said he wants to run marathons and complete an Iron Man when he retires. I really hope he does!

All in all I have to say I’m having a pretty great week so far, and I hope you are too!

Who is your favorite athlete (that is not a runner)? Favorite sport besides running?

Favorite TV show right now?

– Since the MIndy Project and New Girl finales were both this week, I need a new show to watch!

You made me laugh just picturing you running along with a cheesy grin and giving people double thumbs up!!! Glad that you are having such a great week – that’s how it should be!!
My favorite sport – college basketball!!
I watch a lot of HGTV and Food Network – I’m sort of a geek!

I watch SO much Food Network! I like the new Kitchen Casino show a lot, but Chopped is still my fave 🙂

Yay for having a great week. I’m glad you had a great run, I really needed that, makes me want a great run today. Double thumbs up??? What’s wrong with that, I give people those ALL THE TIME lol not really but it would be funny. That beach pic is amazing.

GO HEAT GO! !! Game two tonight, I’m pumped. I’m totally jealous of your pics and going to the game. I can’t imagine the vibe in the arena.

Favorite Athlete – come on, it’s Bron Bron
Sport Besides Running – golf, love the grass and peacefulness.
Favorite TV Show – only thing I watch regularly is The Walking Dead

Haha 🙂 You should give people a double thumbs up and report back on what happens!

I’m pumped for Game 2 also! These 7pm eastern time starts are killing me though since that’s when I usually go out for my run!

I love that you would pepper spray anyone giving you a double thumbs up cheesy grin LOL What a cool picture of the intros!!! I am not a big sports person, but I do watch Nascar and I love Tony Stewart and a bunch of other drivers. Jimmy Johnson runs half marathons quite often, he’s pretty awesome 🙂 Congrats on a effortless feel good run!!! Always good to celebrate those, I am in need of one this week 🙂

I hope you have an awesome, effortless run soon! I bet your glow run this weekend will be so much fun!

Favorite sport besides running–football. Player, Tom Brady…
I also am a local school sports geek–and Tour de France watcher…although I am personally hurt by all the doping in the sport…
Favorite TV show–don’t watch much TV, but the kids and I watch the Amazing Race. I have heard so much about the Mindy Project, I think I will note it for treadmill runs…
Glad you are having a good week…I could use one of those runs!

Oh my gosh! That view of the ocean is so beautiful, what a gorgeous sunset! My favorite sport besides running is tennis and my favorite athlete is Novak Djokovic!!! He is so much fun to watch play and he is the funniest guy ever in interviews! 🙂

    I am happy you’re happy 🙂 I don’t like to watch sports so I don’t think I have a favorite athlete. I bet I could kick LeBron’s ass in a 10k for sure… I don’t know about a 5k but 10k I got.

    Clap, clap, clap-clap-clapppppp!!!!!!!!

Yay! That’s awesome re: your run! Sounds a perfect run! I reckon you should rock the double thumbs up for a while, make it become the new cultural running norm haha 🙂

How amazing to have the beach so close and to be able to run there. Looks so beautiful 🙂

Hmm, don’t tend to watch much TV or sports, but when I have done in the past it’s been gymnastics (as in the floorwork/backflipping kind – as I am always impressed by what people can do with their bodies and crazy muscles etc), or tennis (I love women’s tennis but the over-dramatic yells put me off somewhat as it sounds like they’re putting it on quite often), or skiing or snowboarding (as I would like to be on ski holiday, so living vicariously through them perhaps?). Also, like athletics, again, as am so impressed by people and their muscles and how they must have trained for it. (Oh, wait, maybe I DO like watching sports? judging by my answers here, lol…)

Congrats again on your awesome run mate! 🙂

i can totally feel your happiness radiating through your words! so glad that your running is going so well 🙂

Yay Yay Yay for HAPPY FUN running! That is the way life should be. I played basketball in middle school and while we had our fair share of suicide sprints, coach made us run long and slow A LOT. I bet these guys could do a pretty good 5K! Just sayin!
