    Hi Kristina! I just came across your blog and I love it. I started running “seriously” (as in signed up for a Learn to Run clinic at the Running Room) just over a year ago- I’m also 28. πŸ™‚ It looks like we have similar paces too- my body is not designed to run “fast” and I’m totally okay with that. I love for long, slow runs. I’m looking forward to catching up on your blog backwards! I live in Ontario, so snow will be here soon… I shall live vicariously through your nice running weather.

      Hi Chrissy, thanks for dropping in and saying hi! I live for long, slow runs too! I’d like to get a little bit faster, but I don’t have any dreams of BQ’ing. I’d much rather just run longer and longer and longer distances πŸ™‚ Enjoy your snow this winter! If you get too much of it feel free to send some down my way!

    Kristina,

    Thank you for being a normal human! I just finished my first ever marathon (that had complications with no markings, so it was really 28+ miles) in 7:03:13. Every other blog out there has marathoners finishing in half that time — and seeing your blog actually makes me feel more normal!!!!
