Cross Training, Dumbledore and Red Dots!
Yesterday I ended my week long vacation from working out (aka being completely lazy) and did some cross training.
45 minutes stationary bike, 15 minutes elliptical – while watching football of course.
It felt really good to get a sweat in again!
The good news is today my ankle is feeling wayyy better. No swelling, soreness or pain when walking!
I am kind of feeling like I could go for a small run tonight…?
I should probably give it another day just to be sure. But I really want to run. It’s been over a week since I’ve run down to my beach! I really need to go there asap.
You know how Dumbledore has the Pensieve in Harry Potter?
Well, the ocean is kind of like my Pensieve. Instead of using a wand to siphon off my thoughts into a Pensieve, I go running and siphon off my thoughts into the ocean. It’s good for both Dumbledore and my sanity to do this.
Okay, I will stop being a nerd now and just leave you with this photo of Cecil chasing the red dot.
Someday I will get a red ball and drop it at just the right moment so that he can actually catch the red dot. It will be the best day of his life.
