Cross Training + Football + Tacos = Good Sunday!

Yesterday was another cross training day. Stationary bike, elliptical and a little walking on the treadmill.

Pretty sure I am in need of new Adrenalines. I am crossing my fingers that there will be a good Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal for them somewhere, but if not I will get some new ones anyway.

I’m not sure I will be able to donate this pair though. They have so much sentimental value!

Aside from gym time, I spent most of yesterday watching football and telling Cecil about all the turkey he will get to eat on Thursday.

We will get to meet my mom’s new kitten for the first time on this trip. Cecil likes to hang out with other cats so I think he will like Georgie (I named the kitten – I’m big on using people names instead of things like Fluffy or Socks).

For dinner yesterday I cooked up some turkey tacos! I forgot to buy sour cream but we had some plain Greek yogurt which worked as a perfect replacement. My phone died so no pictures, but I’m pretty sure you know what tacos look like : ) I wish I had brought leftovers for lunch – they were delicious!

I am excited to only have three workdays this week! We have officially entered the holiday season and you know I will be decorating my office before I leave on Wed.

Do you decorate your office for the holidays?

What is your favorite holiday CD/song?

– Not gonna lie, every year I pull out my NSYNC Christmas CD : )

Know of any good running related Black Fri/Cyber Monday sales?

I’m such a fan of turkey tacos! YUM!

How many miles are on your Adrenalines? Seems early to need new ones! Are you experiencing pain?

I agree that it feels early for new Adrenalines but my soles are definitely worn out in areas. I think it probably has a lot to do with almost all of my runs being on the concrete the past three months. My last pair of Brooks lasted almost 6 months but I did so much running on the treadmill during the summer. I think that really extended their life. I was hoping this pair would last until the end of Dec. / beginning of Jan … I think I COULD make them last but I can see I am entering the red zone.
