Day in the Life!

We made it through Monday!

*high five*

Today I’ve got a vlog to share!

Before you watch I just want to say a couple of things. I’m going to be tested in a few days for Hashimotos, a type of hypothyroid condition. Some of the symptoms of Hashimoto’s include an (extra) puffy face and a raspy voice. These are obviously also signs that someone has recently purged, so I just wanted to put it out there that I believe these symptoms are related to Hashimotos and nothing else.

I know that more than a handful of readers here have dealt with eating disorders in the past and will know the signs, so I just wanted to make sure I put that out there ;).

I cannot wait to get my tests done for Hashimotos. I’m actually hopeful that the tests come back positive so I can get on some sort of treatment and be done with it.

I’m tired of being tired.Β Actually, I’m tired of being exhausted!

Not related to Hashimoto’s is my hair situation which still isn’t ideal. I’ve figured out what I want to do with my hair and need to let it grow out some more before I can take the next step.

Basically I want to let it grow out a little longer and then dye the ends grey like Amelia Liana:

^ I love it!

What do you think? Yeah or nay on the hair?
What time do you go to bed?Β

    You are so pretty. πŸ™‚

I am glad you had so much fun at your Finn Baylor shows! Like you said, even though I don’t watch pro wrestling, as an athlete, I could definitely appreciate their hard work and physique!

Do people generally not put back their weights at your gym?

You should see some of the acrobatics the big guys can do. Finn is considered “undersized” for a wrestler and obviously he’s built like a statue, but guys double his size can do some of the most amazing flips and twists in the air – shit you only expect to see a tiny gymnast do!

I mean LOOK at this (it’s only a few seconds long): https://youtu.be/jNdHhtx-Kog?t=10s That’s why I started watching wrestling. The things that Neville guy can do are mind blowing from an athletic standpoint!

My mom has Hashimoto. If it does turn out to be a thyroid issue like that getting on the right medication should help immensely with your energy levels.

I had some energy level related issues that my mom thought might be thyroid related last year (I was sleeping like 9+ hours at night and taking hour plus naps every day and still exhausted). I know how frustrating it was for me to be exhausted all of the time so I hope your doctor is able to get you sorted out quickly. Good luck!!

Oh yes, it’s so frustrating to wake up and feel okay, but then feel like I can barely keep my eyes open a couple hours later. Making it through the work day is such a killer right now. Although I’m trying to figure out if I was THIS tired before my doctor suggested Hashimoto or if its become a fulfilling prophecy over the last few days. I’ve definitely been fatigued but I think I’ve mentally sent it into overdrive!

Exhaustion is terrible. I went to my doctor because I was tired all the time. They took blood work and found out that I was severely anemic (no surprise since I’m a vegan, distance running woman). Once I was on the iron, I felt alot better. I hope you get this sorted out and on meds soon.

By the way, I love your vlog. Your comment about the traffic was great. “It’s freaking life people”. True that!

Thank you! πŸ™‚ This year I’ve made a commitment to stop letting the little things bother me… like traffic. I mean, it clearly does still bother me, but instead of stewing on it or complaining about it when I feel the frustration/anxiety bubble up I try to remind myself it’s just LIFE! haha

I hope you find out for sure what is going on soon! I had a friend get super exhausted and she ended up being deficient in B-12. I would hate traffic like that! Where I live I don’t even have to take a highway to work and never wait on traffic. It has turned me into a very impatient driver! πŸ™‚

Thank you! I’ve had B-12 deficiency before but this feels different. Or maybe it just feels different because I’m dealing with all these other annoying things like constant bloating, dry, dry, dry, dry, dry skin, etc. My body is a mess!

That’s so nice that you don’t have to take a highway to work – I’m jealous!

Oh bother! No fun! I hope your tests bring some closure and you get this all figured out soon.

It’s so interesting to me that gray hair is trendy now…

Hahaa I know. The last time I was at the salon my hairdresser had just dyed his hair grey and I was like “???????” but now I get it! Or maybe I’m just a sheeple…

I think the hair would look great! I go to bed at 9, but lately my early wake ups have been leaving me tired anyway. So I try to go to bed a little earlier when I can! Hope that you get some helpful answers from your test!

9 is so early! Oh my! But you get up super early too. The first thing I see when I scroll through Instagram in the morning are your running posts! I’m always impressed!!

I love how you say “mascara” πŸ™‚

Usually if I want something for over a week, I decide it’s worth buying. I can’t believe you waited a year and a half!

Normally I have no chill and make a ton of impulse purchases, but sometimes I get “stuck” on something. Like, with the case I kept thinking “my mophie case cost $75 and it charges me phone. I just can’t justify spending $35 on a case that just sits there!” Even though I spend money on a lot of stupid things that do even less than the case! πŸ˜€

Ha! I am guilty, I use to put my make up on in the car (at stop lights) when I worked farther from home.
Love the hair, it looks good like you have it now and it’ll great a little longer.
I hope the tests help move you to a solution, I hate that you have to deal with that. I get the zombie state, I am often stuck in it.
    Awesome phone case πŸ™‚

I actually don’t like the grey on that girl because of her other hair color but I think it would be pretty on your hair!!! I think the reddish tone on her clashes with the grey.

Thanks!! I think the lighting in the picture is making her hair look more red than it really is – but mine will definitely be darker than hers no matter what! Eeek, I can’t wait!
