Today’s post is going to be short-ish. I spent most of yesterday backing up my site and then transferring my blog to a completely new host. (If you’re seeing this, hallelujah!) This process took about 12 hours so I watched a lot of YouTube videos and the Super Bowl of course!
The good news is that now you shouldn’t have any more issues with posts and comments not appearing or disappearing and then reappearing. Trust me when I say it was just as annoying for me as it was for you, and I am so happy to (hopefully) have this issue fixed!
The bad news is that the transfer didn’t complete until after 10pm last night so I don’t have a post prepped.
I did wanted to pop in and say Happy Monday though. Monday posts are my favorite because I love checking in on comments throughout the work day and seeing what you got up to over the weekend, or are planning to do this week!
Today is my first official day working with my new running coach which I am really excited about. Some of you may know her as Mollie from Piece of Cake Running. She came HIGHLY recommended to me from my friend Jenny and I am fired up and ready to go for this base building phase of training.
Since I only have one goal race this year, and right now that goal is way out of reach, this base building phase is super important.
Here’s what I’ll be focused on the next few months:
- Getting faster (running)
- Getting stronger (strength training)
- Staying loose and injury free (yoga)
Mollie has included a bunch of videos from Jasyoga for me to do almost every day in addition to my runs. I’ve never really done any yoga so this will be way new for me, but I’m excited to give it my best shot!

Tomorrow I have a very special update for my training recap post from last week — I’m very excited to share it! Also, Barbara is in town today for a special job interview so you’ll see her in a vlog on Wednesday! 🙂
