Hey there! I hope you had a great weekend. My mom took Adam and I out to dinner to celebrate my birthday a few days early which was really nice. She also gave me an Ulta gift card which was extra nice :).
I also joined a local gym so I can use their cardio equipment and can take some classes. I’m looking forward to doing more than just walking for cardio until I can run again. Although long walks do seem to bring back some of the old aches I used to experience after medium-long runs.
I’ve noticed that my hips sometimes feel tight and also my feet will sometimes feel beat up. Part of that is probably because I need new running shoes. Actually I HAVE new running shoes but I refuse to wear them for walks. I’m not breaking them out until I am cleared to run again!

Overall I really like the product. Obviously I haven’t been able to try it post-run yet since I’m sidelined for a while with my calf issues, but I can say it makes my feet feel nice after long walks.
You guys know I’m obsessed with skincare and makeup but I often neglect my feet. When I went to apply the Runner Butter I realized just how dry my heels were … omg, let’s just say VERY dry. Like the Sahara.
The Runner Butter is a little stiff in the jar so I massaged it between my fingers for a few seconds to warm it up and then massaged it into my heels, which immediately drank up the moisture. I ended up applying two coats that first time.

To write this review I google’d “are there medical reasons to keep feet from getting dry.” The answer is YES! If our feet get too dry they will crack and may bleed and then become infected. I definitely don’t want that to happen so from now on I will keep them moisturized!
One thing I do have to say is to follow the directions and put on socks after applying the Runner Butter. I stupidly did not do this and as soon as I stood up to get out of my chair I went flying across our hardwood floors. Your feet will be slippery and well moisturized when you use the butter, just FYI :).
Overall Runner Butter does exactly what it says it will do and I give it two thumbs up!
