Happy But a Little Crazed Too
Yesterday I woke up to a flat tire. Not my favorite way to start a Monday – but it could have been worse!
Adam popped off my tire, put on the spare and I was off to spend an hour and a half in the waiting room at Tires Plus.
I was waiting with three other women and they were all so awesome. A couple of morning talk shows played in the background while we chatted about how important it is for women to be strong, smart and independent. You just never know where you’re going to meet cool people!
When the conversation died down I decided to download Meb for Mortals to my Kindle. I’ve been meaning to read it for a while and thought reading would make the time pass by a little easier.
Meb dedicated the book to the running community, and it’s like he took the words right out of my mouth.
I love that! I love Meb!
I also scrolled through the Instagram feed of Britney Spears. Fifteen year old Kristina wanted to be just like Britney, and 29 year old Kristina thinks we could be pretty good friends. I mean look at these Instas!
Britney, hit me up if you want to go for a run while we talk about cute cat pics we’ve seen on the Internet!
After the tire fiasco I finally got to my office around noon but still made it home just a little after seven. I went to the gym for a cross training session. I should have lifted yesterday but I was honestly over it by that point. By “it” I mean the day. Instead I just hopped on the elliptical.
I felt better after my little workout and stretching :).
