Finished up the last mile at 5K goal pace and then collapsed in a puddle of my own sweat. Isn’t it funny how that’s the BEST feeling?!
One thing I really need to work on: my breathing.
During the last quarter mile I kept reminding myself to keep my breathing as even as possible, but in the end I was still gasping for air. No side stitches though so that’s a plus.
Last night was the first night I went to log a progression run in the Runner’s World Training Log (the new log I am using) and I noticed they don’t have an option for progression runs:
I don’t understand how they have interval, tempo, fartlek but not progression…? Am I missing something? Am I not understanding the terminology correctly? Did RW do this just to drive me crazy?
The only thing that is helping me get over the frustration of the RW log is that … Adam and I booked a cruise yesterday! We actually sail one week from today! It’s just a short, 4-day caribbean cruise to Cozumel and back but I am really looking forward to getting away and relaxing.
