I Mustache You Some Questions

I have a food hangover from yesterday’s delicious anniversary dinner! Does that ever happen to you? I just want to lay in bed forever, but that would be wrong so instead I’ll blog! 🙂

  3. Okay, so when are we going to _______ (I gotta have a plan!)
  4. I’m going for a run, I’ll be back

Four people I tag:

  1. Meg

What is your favorite book or movie of ALL TIME?

  1. November 20, 2014 / 6:14 am

Mother clucker hahaha too funny xD

Oh my… I’m not a huge book-person but I really liked “Wasted”. Movie on the other hand **, LOVE movies (even though I’m too more of a series-person). Breakfast at Tiffany’s (I used to watch it every time I was sick and had to stay home from school, or when it was raining on the weekends – yes, I was a strange kid) – everything with Audrey Hepburn is great, I love her. I also LOVE Black Swan (I was obsessed with it last winter, and I still watch it whenever I get the chance haha), and I never get tired of Mean Girls.

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:17 pm

Wasted… I forgot about that book. It used to be my bible. Oy.

I never saw Black Swan. I must be the last person on earth who hasn’t seen it!

I considered putting Mean Girls on my list 🙂

  2. November 20, 2014 / 7:17 am

I use Citrix daily!! And apparently I need to watch more tv…I haven’t watched any of those shows, well I watch football but who doesn’t! I also say “mother clucker”, my friends laugh at me!

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:18 pm

Whaaat! I didn’t know anyone else said mother clucker!!!! When I googled it I was shocked that memes came up. I totally think I was the only one who used it. So much for thinking I’m uniquely clever, haha.

  3. November 20, 2014 / 7:41 am

Oooh Citrix…shudder (takes me 15 minutes to get through ahha). Were you Stina1 or Stina2? I just had some gyoza two nights ago sooo good. I do love Sleeping Beauty and just watched Malificient which was pretty good.

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:19 pm

Haha I hear ya on the Citrix thing, their products can be a pain. Their UX team works really hard but they are super underfunded as a department, in my opinion.

I was Stina2, the slightly younger one!

  4. November 20, 2014 / 7:49 am

Im so bad at picking ONE favorite book, movie etc! It was hard enough for me to pick 4 of each when i did the survey! Ive watched all the Harry Potter movies a million times and will need get sick of them:)

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:21 pm

ME TOO! There is just no way to get sick of HP! I was so pleasantly surprised when the flight home from London had both Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2!!

  5. November 20, 2014 / 8:25 am

Thank you for tagging me! I was secretly hoping for someone to tag me. 🙂

I am suffering from a food hangover too, but it’s not from a yummy meal, it’s from too much peanut butter, cheese, and chocolate morsels last night while we were watching Survivor!

What are you going to do with your 2 weeks off?

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:23 pm

      Mmmmmmm good snack choices!

I have no idea what I’m going to do! Probably sleep in a lot, maybe take some yoga classes, go to the beach and just generally reset for a big 2015!

  6. November 20, 2014 / 9:33 am

Ha this is very cool. I’m not a book reader and its so fats to pick one movie. I’ll have to get back to you. If Cecil calls you Meow, what on earth dies he call Adam lol

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:24 pm

He calls Adam meow too. He doesn’t know very many words. We are a bit concerned about his language development. At seven years old he really should have a wider vocabulary….. 😉

  7. November 20, 2014 / 11:01 am

I have been feeling the effects of a less than stellar diet the past week or so…It’s time to get back to the program.
Favorite movie of all time? I really can’t say…definitely a classic…or a musical. I am weird like that.

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:25 pm

I hear ya! This week I’ve had Chipotle for dinner one night and a big anniversary dinner the next night. I am looking forward to a normal, home cooked meal tonight.

Until we went to Europe this year I never noticed how much my diet affects not just the way I feel but also the way I look. When I uploaded our pictures from vacation I couldn’t figure out why my face looked so extra puffy but I am sure it was from overindulging!

  8. November 20, 2014 / 11:10 am

    I LOVE this!

    1. It’s funny that you don’t like raw carrots because I hate cooked carrots but really like raw ones.
    2. I also answer the phone “hey, what’s going on?”/’hey, what’s up” and sometimes that the first thing I ask even if I call someone and my mom thinks it’s so weird. Her response is always “I don’t know, didn’t you call me?” haha!

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:26 pm

Hahah, I do the same thing! I call people and say “hey, what’s going on?”

  9. November 20, 2014 / 11:29 am

HA! Love the teacher-runner crew reference.

Of COURSE Scott Jurek’s book would be at the top of your book list. 😉 Can’t wait to hear about your vacation plans. Planning is always fun – the execution is even better! I wonder if all runners are schedule oriented and need a plan. This seems to be very common.

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:29 pm

You know, it feels like just yesterday that I was blogging about our 2014 plans. I can’t believe the year is coming to a close already!

I bet most runners are planners. I mean, being a runner requires so much planning between routes, training routines and race prep alone. If you don’t like planning I don’t think you could be a runner!

  10. November 20, 2014 / 1:25 pm

My all time favorite book is Little Women!
I love the Sholpaholic movie and all the books in that series – so fun to read.
Funny that you live in Florida and have access to fresh seafood but don’t eat it. We don’t eat seafood much here (I buy it if it’s frozen only) since it obviously can’t be fresh but when we travel it is all I eat!!!

    • November 20, 2014 / 3:29 pm

Whoooo! I’m so excited to have found another Shopaholic fan. I love those books so much!

  11. November 20, 2014 / 1:56 pm

I’m with you, TV series >>>> movies.
I could watch One Tree Hill, Friday Night Lights, and Scandal for dayssss.

    • November 21, 2014 / 12:31 pm

Watching TV shows is the best because you get to be with the characters you like longer. A movie is so one-and-done!

  12. November 20, 2014 / 5:06 pm

Mother clucker!! LOL!! I don’t know if that substitute swear word would fly at work for me but OMG I love it!

Thanks for tagging me…this will be a fun post to get my mind off tapering lol!

Did you like being a technical writer? I have thought of going into that line of work.

    • November 21, 2014 / 12:33 pm

I think you should try it and see what happens ;D

I didn’t mind being a technical writer (intern), but I much prefer the creative work I get to do now. The work could be quite boring. I had to help write a manual for a new piece of software that was coming out, and I had to write the internal User Experience handbook which was definitely boring, but I also learned a lot.

  13. November 20, 2014 / 8:49 pm

OH I loved this! I was a tech writer too–up to 2 years ago. The 4 foods cracked me up. Definitely checking out these books.

    • November 21, 2014 / 12:34 pm

I cannot recommend Eat & Run more heavily. I have read that book about 500 times… okay maybe more like 8 times but still!!!

  14. November 21, 2014 / 10:57 am

Mother Cluck-er LOL Your what I won’t eat list makes me smile for some reason – I think the gross behind it says it all. Homeward Bound was such a good movie 🙂 I watched Lost Boys so many times I’ve lost count, I do not like scary movies, but the Corey’s were so funny in it I loved it. I’ve also seen Rocky Horror picture show a ridiculous amount of times in the movies and as a live production lol

    • November 21, 2014 / 12:45 pm

I’ve only seen Lost Boys once but it is a really good movie and it’s not toooo scary! I can’t wait scary movies anymore. I vowed to never watch another one after seeing Saw. It scared the pants off of me for months!
