Hey guys! I hope that you had a great weekend :). Mine was full of sunshine, shopping, running and relaxing. The perfect mix!
I vlogged my day on Saturday and then on Sunday I spent the day celebrating Father’s Day with Adam and his family. Cecil got Adam a cute card and some of his favorite candy, he’s such a good boy!
Now that the days are getting longer and the sun has been out more my runner’s tan is also coming back! On my legs you can clearly see where my shorts end, and I have a runner top tan too. Even though I wear a visor my face must be getting tan too because my foundation looks super light on me!
I ran 4.5 miles on Sunday which was my longest run post-surgery, and last week was my first week running 4 days. I am so happy with how well my legs held up and how good I felt at the end of the run. I am really, really starting to feel like my old runner self again. My coach said “you’re endurance is coming back” and I was like I KNOW LOOK AT ME GO! 😀
Looking forward to another week of running and increasing up to a 5 mile long run this coming weekend!!!! But I’m getting ahead of myself. We have to get through this week first :).
