April’s here and The Mindy Project returns today! (<<< Sooo excited about this).
From a running perspective, I’m pretty glad to be leaving March in the dust. While I made sure to get in quality runs each week, I also didn’t run very much. My total for the month was only 57 miles (!!!!) which brings me to 200.4 for the year.
The days colored in orange are days I worked out (running or cross training), and the days in white are complete rest days. Yep, there are way too many white days.
I definitely plan on fixing this situation in April and getting back into my regular running routine which includes lacing up my shoes at least 5 days a week.
The good news is I didn’t skip out on any of my long runs … that’s pretty much never going to happen since the long run is my favorite run! : )
In other good news my Brooks shipment came the other day, so now I have a shiny new pair of Adrenalines and a pretty new headband!
And in OTHER good news…. my candles are really pretty! #NotSoHumbleBrag
I gotta say, it feels good to be turning the page on a new month. March was okay, but I think April is going to be great!
How many days a week do you like to run? How many miles per week/month?
– Up to this point I have felt best the months where I ran 5 to 6 days a week and ~80 miles a month
Any specific running goals for April?
– Incorporate new speedwork into my routine!
