Today was the best Monday I’ve had in a long time! I slept in until 10am, I bought new running clothes and new running shoes!
For Christmas I received a $100 gift card to Dick’s sporting goods and of course I could not wait to spend it on some new running clothes.
Yes, I do now own wayyy too many pairs of these UA compression capris but they are seriously the best ever. I’ve actually never worn anything more comfortable in my entire life (not an exaggeration)!
As you can see it is not possible for anything to be in my house for more than 5 seconds without Cecil putting his fur on it. He sheds on my clothes like its his full time job.
Loving the new top (Nike) and sports bra (Reebok) which were both on clearance! The sports bra actually came out to about $8! I think this may be my best sports bra find ever.
All that shedding on my new stuff tired Cecil out.
Weight lifting today tired me out. Monday is pretty much always a cross training day for me. Adam went to the gym with me and gave me a new lifting routine that already has me sore. Hurts so good, right? : )
I’m looking forward to my last run of the year tomorrow – four miles to reflect on 365 days of running and blogging about running!
I hope you have something fun planned for New Year’s Eve (even if that fun thing is staying home)!
Happy New Year’s Eve!Β
Ooh I wish my man went to the gym with me! Some day…

It’s fun! π Without him there I would never make progress on my weightlifting goals!
I looove new running clothes! Nothing inspires me more. What shoes did you get??

I got another pair of the Adrenalines…. I LOVE them π I will probably wear them for the rest of my life (or until Brooks changes them)!
Yay on the running clothes! Runners never ever have enough gear, of that I am sure!

Exactly! Plus a few of my running tops and sports bras really need to be replaced due to smell, haha. I’ve been using the Fabreeze Sports detergent but I think multiple long runs during the summer may have ruined some of my running clothes! (so gross, so true)
Sooo inspirational to buy new running gear methinks. Hope you had a wonderful New year’s eve, and here’s to 2014 and your new year of running! All the best Kristina π xx
