Hi there! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA around the blog world. My schedule at work the last few days has been hectic to say the least. On Monday night I had to stay up past midnight to do some work!
After writing my Valentine’s Day post about self care, I decided I needed to take a night just to relax on Tuesday.
Today I’m back with full gusto, and I have a new vlog to share! 🙂
The vlog contains a little bit of shopping and a little bit of lifting but absolutely no shop lifting :D.

On Tuesday I didn’t just miss writing a blog post but I also took the night off of running. I was just mentally and physically exhausted. I did receive a package from Oiselle the other day though, so I was really excited to try my new stuff out on last night’s run!
I bought a pair of the Strider shorts, which are just insanely soft and comfortable. Definitely my new favorite shorts. I plan to order a couple more!
I also picked up a Roga Visor in light blue which is also really soft!
I ended up doing five easy miles last night and the time literally flew by. My calves felt a little bit tight at the beginning but they loosened up really quickly and I was on cruise control the rest of the way.
It’s been a long time since I’ve had the type of run where it just feels smooth the whole time – I loved it! It was 80 degrees out which isn’t the ideal temperature but I barely noticed.
Aren’t those kind of runs the best? They more than make up for the ones where I feel like I’m struggling the whole time.
