New Vlog: I Love Days Like This!

Happy Wednesday! Today I’ve got a new vlog to share. If you like Day in the Life style content I think you’ll like this one a lot!

If you’re not already subscribed to my YouTube channel you can subscribe here. One of my goals this year is to get to 50 subscribers. It’s a totally random and arbitrary goal but your subscription would help me get there :).

In case you don’t watch the vlog, I just have to tell you that my plants are thriving and I could not be happier!!!! I really didn’t think I had a green thumb but it’s been a month now and they’re still alive!

Of course the vlog isn’t all about my plants, but I do show them off because I am so proud of them :D!

I’m also always proud of Cecil. If we’re friends on Snapchat (@kristinarunning) then you probably also saw this ridiculous sequence:

He basically just laid there the entire time I worked out and then ran to the treat drawer and begged for a post workout snack! What a lazy perfect house cat!

Last night I got in a nice little four miler at the beach. It was hot and sunny out but I was in a really good mood and enjoyed the sunshine!

This week feels like it’s flying by for me. Does it feel that way for you? Actually this whole year is flying by. I can’t believe it’s March already! I’m pretty happy about that though because each week that passes by brings me one week closer to vacation. I have to tell you all about my plans soon!

I hope you have a great first day of March!

Are you planning to take any vacations this year?
What’s your ultimate dream vacation destination (if money were not a factor)?!
Do you have a green thumb?

I’ve been thinking it would be nice to take a vacation! I dont really have anything planned yet, but I’ll probably go to the beach for a few days in the summer.

That sounds like a good plan to me! You know I never say no to time at the beach 🙂

Less than 2 weeks until my 30th birthday vacation in Zion + Canyonlands Natl Parks!

I love that little pop of color your plant provides in that gray/white space!

You are going to have such an amazing bday. Take lots of pics!

I’m planning a vacation to see family (who live 800 miles away) this summer. We’ll do fun things while we’re visiting, including sitting on the beach, so it’ll be so FUN!

Dream vacation — Tour Europe/Australia/Asia. Just explore leisurely. Currently, I work full time, so all vacations have an expiration date. This makes me feel like I have to CRAM in as much fun as possible into a seemingly short time frame. Not so fun — and I’m always left feeling like I need a vacation from my vacation.

I DO have a green thumb! I inherited it from my momma…. I can make all things grow – but keeping them alive, that’s a different story!

Ugh I know what you mean about the expiration date and cramming fun in! This year I want to try and really relax on vacation since my sched. has been a little hectic.

That tour of europe/aus/asia sounds amazing. I really want to visit aus/nz sometime soon!

I loooooove the plant/vase you put those gemstones in. That looks really sharp! Do you let Cecil outside in your patio area? It looks like it is fenced in completely and he could chill out there…

I don’t know anything about plants. When I do my garden each year, I invite my mom over to help me with it and then I treat her to lunch. And when I mean help me, I mean she even goes with me to buy the plants!

      Thank you!

Cecil has been out on the patio once and of course he liked it, but I don’t really let him be out there. I don’t want him to get any bugs (fleas/ticks). We don’t have him on any flea/tick medication since he’s indoor only so that worries me when he tries to venture out! Plus, we have seen an opossum scurry across the fence before and Cecil went NUTS when he saw it through the door. I think if he was outside he would have tried to get the opossum, and I don’t think he would win that fight. He’s a baby and the opossum is probably very street smart!

I saw your blog and love how your plants are coming out:)

My ultimate dreamed vacation will be the Amalfi Coast at Italy. I’m dying to go there. I will go there haha.

YESSSSS! Adam and I went to the Amalfi Coast last year and it was incredible. The views are unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. You would love that trip, I highly recommend it!

I love the aesthetic you have going on on that mantel! The white/cream and the green is so fresh and pretty!!

Thank you! I’m terrible at coming up with ideas for house decor, but I’m really good at stealing ideas from Estee Lalonde! I love looking through the pics on her blog for inspiration!

It looks like your house is coming together really nicely! How do you like it so far compared to apartment living? Pros/Cons? Last summer I was given a tiny Aloe plant that literally had two little buds and now it is huge and very healthy. My husband and I don’t do well with plants that are high maintenance, but Aloe plants apparently will survive in any household. Haha!

We really don’t have any vacations on the calendar this year, aside from taking a trip up to Whistler for my Ironman. We want to wait until Axel is at an easier travel age and then splurge on a big trip. I would love to go back to Turks and Caicos or St. Lucia!

Ohhhh I didn’t know that about aloe plants, now I have to get one!

I am really enjoying house living. It makes me wonder how we ever managed in an apartment because I love having all this space now!
