Progression runs are pretty great

Until I started blogging I never knew I had one crazy eye that is bigger than the other. Now that I take selfies I have noticed that this is the case… eek.

This selfie was taken after a progression run on the treadmill. I just have to say that progression runs are my favorite after the long run. They just feel right.

While I was stretching afterwards I started playing around with the Camera+ app. I downloaded it a long time ago and have never taken the time to get to understand its many features. It’s supposed to be like the best camera app for the iPhone or something.

It has a ton of features I don’t know how to use properly like white balance and soft focus adjustment…. The one thing I do know how to use is the 100 filters it has (so many more than Instagram)!

I’ve been thinking about getting a nice DSLR and taking some photography classes, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I would just like to be able to take better pictures of my candles.  DSLRs are soooo expensive though. If you know anyone selling a used one that is good, let me know : )

I did invest $20 in this new watch recently.

Big gold watches are in right? I’m still reading a few fashion blogs that I found around New Year’s and picking up some tips, hah. I’ll be honest, I like my Garmin better, but maybe I’ll wear this to a business conference I’m going to next week.

That thing on the ground in the background is one of Cecil’s favorite toys. He loves anything with feathers.

He is also the King of the Spice Cabinet? Nope, he’s not allowed. Yep, he does whatever he wants.

And on that note HAPPY FRIDAY! I hope this weekend you will do whatever you want!

How long will your long run be this weekend?

Do you own a DSLR? If so, please leave a recommendation for a good entry-level one : )

I almost bought a blingy gold watch last week but then I remembered I’m supposed to go to Hawaii! I will get one one of these days, though! ps. My cat does what he wants too. He owns the house. We just pay the mortgage.

I got this watch with a Living Social Deal for only $20 (normally $65)! It felt like a good deal, but if I had a trip to Hawaii planned I would have totally skipped it and saved. You are going to have a blast on your trip!

Archie loves the spice cabinet too! He likes to hide in the back and when you reach in he comes zooming out and pretends to bite your hand to protect the spices. It’s super weird lol.

I love progression runs too! And one of my eyes is WAY obviously smaller than the other…more noticeable than yours (I can’t even tell, honestly, your eyes look identical! haha). Ah, blogger-photo problems.

If big watches are in, then I’ll now feel much cooler with my Garmin Forerunner 410 since it wraps entirely around my wrist. Stylin’ and profilin’ over here…

Progression runs are great on the treadmill. I love how they can teach you how to be patient! My husband (weird to say that) is a photographer. I will ask him and get back to you on camera options 🙂

How long is a progression for you normally? That’s a new idea for me 🙂 love the bling!

I usually do about four miles…. although it’s really nice when a long run turns into a progression run on its own 🙂
