Hey! It’s been a while since my last post, huh? I’ve been feeling pretty under the weather and have had 0% energy to do anything other than exist. (<–so dramatic, but true!)
Since I last blogged ….
I Got in a 15-Miler
It felt good to be reunited with my running essentials after 6 DAYS OFF!
I first attempted to run in the early-ish morning and that didn’t go well. In hindsight I should have realized that I always feel extra bad in the mornings when I have a cold. Later in the afternoon, with the appeal of an overcast sky, I decided it was time to run and ended up getting in some really good miles.
After taking six days off from running it’s probably no surprise that MY LEGS FELT GREAT. I didn’t feel any soreness or tiredness at all. That was a nice feeling and definitely gave me a boost of confidence.
I’m ready for that 20-miler next weekend!!!!
Cecil Decided He Likes the Top Shelf of the Cat Tree
He stopped being a scaredy cat and started jumping up to the top. Now he spends hours up there bird watching and people watching!
Adam is thinking about adding on some extra shelves and things so it’s even more fun for the peanut!
FOOTBALL Came Back!
I know Kristen must be SUPER HAPPY with how the first real game of the season went on Thursday for her Seahawks. I was less happy since I have Aaron as my fantasy football QB and he didn’t play his best game. Get it together, Aaron!!!
Thursday night’s game was fun, but tomorrow is the BIG DAY for me… the first Dolphins game of the season!
The Pats are coming to town and Cheryl and I will have to agree to disagree on who the better team is : ) I just hope Tom Brady is prepared to see a lot of Cam Wake!
