Today is not just Friday, it’s FOOTBALL FRIDAY!
Tonight is the first pre-season game of the year and I am so ready to see my Dolphins in action!
I still can’t believe Adam and I are really going to London to see the Dolphins play this September! I bought the tickets way back in February as A’s Valentine’s gift and it felt like football season would NEVER get here!
We’ve seen the Dolphins play the Raiders three times in person and the Dolphins won each time, so we are feeling good about this game!
Last night I went for my beach run, per usual.
The view above ^ was to my right and the view below was to my left.
The storm clouds were rolling in and I made it home just in time! Phew.
I’m always so worried about getting caught in a storm because I know you’re supposed to avoid trees since they attract lightning, but there are tall palm trees all over the place on my route!
This weekend I’ve got 14 miles on the schedule — the last 3 miles are fast finish miles.
I have to say I’m pretty happy that I only have to do 14 on Saturday since 16 last weekend really kicked my butt and the idea of running 17 is intimidating me a bit. If I can get in a really strong run this weekend I know I’ll feel better about running 17 next weekend.
