The Funniest Podcast to Listen to While Running

Yesterday it was SO WINDY during my run, but the humidity was low (61%) so it was a fair trade off :).

These days all of my running clothes are covered in paint. It amuses me that anyone who doesn’t know could easily assume I have bird poop all over me! ?

Last night was my best medium-long run in quite a while. Eight miles and my calves weren’t bothering me at all during the second half.

I started listening to the My Dad Wrote a Porno podcast during this run and honestly laughed out loud the whole time!

If you’re not familiar, each episode three friends sit around reading a chapter of an erotic book that the father of one of the friend’s wrote. They give hilarious commentary throughout.

It’s not the kind of podcast you should listen to with your kids in the car, but it’s definitely the kind of podcast you should listen to on the run if you’re not bothered by sexual humor!

You will laugh out loud and get a lot of strange looks though, just a warning :).

I hope you have a great Monday!

Do you listen to My Dad Wrote a Porno?
Did you get any shopping done over the weekend?

Random one: Have you ever used the Anastasia lip colors? If so, are they worth it? I’m VERY interested in about 10 of the colors haha

I love when a podcast makes me laugh! Rob on RHAP makes me laugh sometimes and it can be dangerous if I am at the gym lifting weights when it happens!

OMG hahaha yes I don’t think I could listen to this podcast while lifting weights. I literally had to pause my Garmin at one point because I was practically bent over laughing hard!

Hahah that’s funny! I didn’t start listening to them until Serial season one came out. That’s definitely one to add to your running playlist. It’s so addicting and your long runs will pass by in a flash!

I have been so far behind on my podcasts since marathon training ended. I have got to get out there and listen to them! I have heard of this one, but haven’t tried it yet. Now I’m intrigued!! Thanks for the recommendation.

This podcast is extra funny because the dad who wrote the novel has very basic writing skills. Some of the adjectives and verbs he uses are … interesting! LOL

I wish I could listen to this and concentrate on it during runs with Elizabeth. I know we’d both love it; I just imagine we wouldn’t be able to HEAR it very well. I’m going to have to put this on during my commute hahaha.
