This Video Represents Me

Hey there, we’ve made it to Wednesday! After today ends the weekend will be within reach!

So, you know how I’ve been making videos for my YouTube channel? I’m going PRO!

Okay, not really! I just bought a Β tripod to put my camera on so that I don’t have to awkwardly prop itΒ up on my desk.

I filmed my first video using the tripod a couple of days ago. I still need to work out the angles and things, but I think this is much better than my old setup where I was practically sitting right on top of the camera!

ThisΒ is just a funny little video where I talk about the five emojis that I think accurately represent me.

I was going to post up a Mindy Project season 4 premier reaction video but I ended up blabbing on for Β 15 minutes straight and I didn’t have time to edit all of that footage last night! πŸ˜‰

I did LOVE the premier though, so glad the show is back.

Hope you have a great Wednesday and I’ll talk to ya again soon!

Which emoji do you think accurately represents you? Which one do you use the most?
Did you watch Mindy yesterday?!!?!?

I like the winky sticky-out tongue one – mainly because it looks so ridiculous and I hope that whoever receives it imagines me making that exact face! I wish there was a running emoji apart from the little red man – we need a running girl! OMG Mindy – I love love loved it! She is more hilarious than ever and I love when her Mum said “Ex-squeeze me”! What did you think?

Oh that’s such a good one, I never think to use it. I need to incorporate that one more!

I loooooved when Mindy’s mom said Ex-squeeze me! The scene where her mom is defending her dad and saying, “his office hours are not well attended because he teaches it right the first time” was THE BEST! I loved it!

I never use emojis because I have a flip phone!

How many uses of the bass clarinet were used in the Mindy premiere? Have you ever noticed that whenever something funny happens and they want you to laugh, the use the bass clarinet? hehehe.

First I need to learn what a bass clarinet sounds like and then I can let you know, haha!

I never noticed the clarinet prompt but now I am really curious!

Now that I mentioned it, you will not be able to ignore it! It sounds like a clarinet, just a lot lower.

Love your new set-up πŸ™‚ are you using a DSLR or do you still use your little camera? I filmed a bunch of videos on my DSLR but then I realized that it didn’t have autofocus, so things get blurry if I move around πŸ™ debating whether it is wortH it to look into a new DSLR or just go with a smaller camera.

Now that I have the tripod I am using the DSLR to film the videos. I want to do a daily vlog or two in the future and I’ll definitely use the little camera for that.

Once thing I miss from the little camera is the front facing screen. It was nice to be able to glance up and see what I look like while filming and now I have to wait until I’m done to review it. Eventually I may upgrade my DSLR and get one with a front facing screen but I’m not ready to make that investment just yet.

I do think my little Samsung does a nice job and it only cost me $80 … but unfortunately it doesn’t work with my new tripod otherwise I would probably keep using it!

I’m going to say it….I’ve never seen a single episode of the Mindy Project, but the way you talk about makes me think I am missing out on something great!! When is this show on??

It’s on Hulu now so you can watch it anytime! πŸ™‚ It used to be on FOX but they cancelled it and Hulu picked it up for 2 seasons!

It’s a good one! I upgraded my Hulu account so that I could watch it commercial free, haha πŸ™‚

I like the new video set up:)
I think I use the sweat (water drops) symbol a lot! LOL all my runs for the past 5 months. I like all the hearts, the smiley face, and the running feet. I wish they had a runner girl too!

This was super fun πŸ™‚ I was SO excited about the new Mindy. We watched it Tuesday night as well. I’m so glad the show is back. I’m really curious to see what they do with Mindy’s pregnancy and child. I think it’s going to be hard to do that transition in a show that used to be sort of about the single life in NYC, but I think if anyone can do it Mindy can. She’s such a brilliant writer and comedian.

The good news is that Chicago is DEFINITELY flat! πŸ™‚ I think you will have a much better experience this time. I just ran my first marathon last weekend. I’ll be looking for a flatter course for my 2nd, that’s for sure (and I actually train on hills).

On another note… I can’t believe it’s already Chicago Marathon time. This year has flown by.
