Hey there! I hope your week is going well. Today I am sharing another What I Eat in a Day style video:
Last time I posted a video like this a handful of people mentioned that they eat a lot more in a day than I do. This made me feel weird at first because most of the people saying this weigh less than me and I assumed they meant that I was somehow lying. Then I realized that’s probably not the case since they are my friends! Also that we all have to eat different amounts anyway :).
I would say, like most people, what I eat in a day really fluctuates based on my activity level, my stress level and how busy I am with work.
On days that I am super busy, which just happened to be the last time I filmed a What I Eat in a Day video and also this time I don’t snack much just because I forget to. If I am not super busy with work I usually try to have both a morning and an evening snack that generally consists of cheese, nuts and fruit.
Also please keep in mind that right now I am not running very much. My average mileage per week right now is less than 7.5 miles for the ENTIRE WEEK.
If you’re an endurance runner reading this blog you probably run that mileage in one day and then are quite hungry! When my mileage is higher I probably eat a lot more in a day to replenish what I’m burning off but right now running 1.5 – 3 miles per day doesn’t make me that much more hungry than if I wasn’t running at all.
And also please remember I am actively trying to lose weight so there’s that too – and I am still losing weight. I’ll probably only post once a month updates on that because generally speaking who cares what I weigh?
Anyway sorry for the long disclaimer. I just needed to make sure no one thought I was lying lol! Such a weird thing to worry about!
