What’s In My Bag?

Happy Friday! Who else is beyond ready to get this weekend started?

I had a pretty boring day yesterday. Coffee > Work > Coffee > Work > Run. There was a little too much work in there for my liking!

I went for a walk during my lunch break and basked in the nice, warm sun…

… until I started roasting! Then I hightailed right back to work and cooled off in the a/c, which is the best invention ever.

Since I don’t have a lot to share with you about yesterday, I thought I’d record a video!

I enjoy watching “What’s In My Bag” videos on YouTube and thought I’d film one. I hope you like it :).

The next video will be a training recap that I’ll film on Sunday evening. I’ve got a challenging weekend coming up: 5 miles on Saturday and 13 miles on Sunday!ย

Most of my back-to-back runs so far have made me a bit nervous, but I’m not nervous at all about tackling these 18 miles.ย I probably should be, but I guess I’m comfortable enough with my training plan now that I know I’ll be able to handle the challenge.

I hope you have a fun weekend planned – if you’ll be spending time outdoors don’t forget your sunscreen!

Any big plans?
What time will you get up for your long run this weekend?

Ahhh, thank you for watching ๐Ÿ™‚ I always get so nervous hitting publish on the videos!

The Tahiti Island Dream is by far my favorite scent they have ever come out with!! #obsessed

Can you IMAGINE life before AC?! Oh, man.

Love your video posts! A “what’s in my bag” would take about 3 hours to film because I carry GIANT purses and have nothing but junk in there, haha.

Hahaha I was surprised at how few things I have in there. I feel like I’m constantly digging around in there trying to find things! ๐Ÿ™‚

Life without A/C is crazy! When I went to paris last year I stayed in an AirBNB and it didn’t have air. I was there in September so the weather was perfect and no a/c was necessary but I can’t imagine living there in the summer with no a/c!

LOL girl I am laughing so hard. You have your beautiful CK bag that is so sleek and professional looking and then you keep your change in a sandwich bag! I know what you mean about how you hate when change is rolling around at the bottom of your bag. My wallet zipper never closes the whole way so my change always falls out. I guess I should get myself a sandwich bag ๐Ÿ™‚

I will do a vlog of what is in my bag, thanks for the suggestion!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I know! I honestly never really thought too hard about the sandwich bag thing but after watching the video back I have decided that this weekend I will need to go buy a coin purse! ๐Ÿ™‚

Can’t wait to see the vlog of your purse! Are you still using the kitty purse??!

      1. Megan @ Meg Go Run

It’s more of a fall purse. ๐Ÿ™‚ But yes I do use it in the fall and winter. ๐Ÿ™‚ Not much fits in it though. Right now I have “vacation purse” which I can fit A LOT in.

I don’t think you should buy a change purse. Think about it. You can SEE THROUGH the plastic bag, enabling you to very quickly find the change you need.

I might have to do a what’s in my wallet video…bunch of receipts ๐Ÿ™‚

I laughed at the plastic bag with change, I would totally do,that lol

Hahaha my purse used to be stuffed full of receipts too – but now I just throw them all out once a week! The stress of loose change and crumpled up receipts was stressing me out! haha

I love the color of that bag! So pretty. Have a good weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you! I love it because it goes with EVERYTHING! When I was younger I used to switch handbags everyday but now I look for neutral bags that I can wear with anything/everything!

Change in the sandwich bag = awesome!!! Something I would totally do. ๐Ÿ™‚

It hit 102 degrees here today and is supposed to stay the same tomorrow. My husband and I are going up to the mountains and I will likely jump in to an ice cold lake to beat the heat. Sunscreen is a MUST for sure!!! That sun is hot and unforgiving. Have a great weekend!!!

Your bag is a very pretty color ๐Ÿ™‚ Your coins made me laugh lol I hate coins too, but I have a little coin purse, I keep just enough for a vending machine emergency lol I dump the rest every few days in ajar and my son takes it :/

I love the new blog layout ๐Ÿ™‚ very nice! I’m waking up at 1:30am for my long run. It takes me a while to get ready and the goal is to get to the start by 2:45 and then set up the water stops (aka our cars) and then head back to the start. I have 20 miles scheduled for tomorrow. My longest run ever and the first of 3 20 milers I have scheduled (wish me luck!!!)

Hope you had an awesome 20-miler!!!! I can’t imagine getting up at 1:30am. When I did my 20-miler last year I got up at 3:30am and ran for a few hours outdoors and then moved to the treadmill to finish up once the sun was too hot. That is some crazy willpower to get up at 1:30am to get in a training run!

Hope you took the best nap ever afterwards ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. LeAnne@thisismyfaster

Thanks! I got through it (painfully and slowly but I got it done) ๐Ÿ˜‰
